Psalms 79:1

Updated: Apr 9, 2021

[[A Psalm of Asaph.]] O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.

One of the most interesting chapters in the bible is Genesis Chapter 1. Not simply of jus creation of all things and unraveling the truth about the myths of pantheism, universalism, atheism, evolution and any other vile sick, wicked and vain imaginations that mankind has come up with. Apostle John recorded a interesting statement that Jesus mentioned to one to Apostles, he said Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. 10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him. Brothers and sisters, I pray that we do not let the light inside of us flicker and go out. Is this not what The LORD God told Moses on Mount Sinai in the Book Leviticus to always keep the light burning? Are we not a priestly kingdom? In Genesis 1 God separates the Light from the darkness, and ever since then this pattern has been going on to this day until death has been defeated and when the Ruler of this world is cast into the Eternal Lake of Fire. The pattern is shown in Genesis and when we look at Jesus, Moses and Asaph we see that the night time comes before the day as the scriptures say “And the evening and the morning were the first day.” This symbolizes wickedness and the time where a lot of evil happens. Why does it make mention in the Gospels that Jesus was betrayed at night, who are those wandering stars that are reserved into eternal blackness? When we look at this song, the heathen are the LGTBQs, some not all of the Activist on the street, or the hypocritical Christians who have defiled their own holy temple and not just the church. Maybe it’s the atheist who goes about his business every day and lives to their own truth, or the peaceful Muslims, Hinduism and all those who don’t believe in our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. However, the time is coming where the wicked will have their time and they will rule. More and More we see Christ being cast out the schools, the churches, the workplace and now even our own homes. Jerusalem is symbol of the church, and the spiritual inventory of our hearts. When will we ever listen to Jesus and Read the scriptures before The LORD of Host tells us to “Consider your ways”? As the next scripture talks about how the dead bodies of servants that are given up to the insects, birds and decomposers of heaven it is imperative we retain the Word of God and pray not just for things to gain but for more service to give. China is going through persecution almost like the Original 12 Apostles. When Jesus told the people “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.” Remember this isn’t just a exaggeration, if the time comes to die for Christ will you do the same? Let this chapter of Psalms 79 be a prayer of strength and warfare, a prophecy of the end times to come and what is here now, and even a character analysis on the heathen, The Lord, and the Lord’s servants. As always I love you all truly , As the Apostle Paul toll the people in Ephesus , Grace be to you , and peace , from God our Father , and from the Lord Jesus Chris and blessed be the God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ , who hath blessed us all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ . Amen
