Out of all the prophets Jonah is the only who that actually refused to do the will of God, yet Jesus compared himself to his prophet more than any other prophet in the bible. What is a lying vanity? Why do the heathen rage and imagine a vain thing? What is a vain thing? What can be so empty? Can one person be full of themselves but so still be so empty? Better yet I asked myself what is a lying vanity? This makes me think of the Garden of Eden when Satan approached Adam and agreed with her as a lying vanity by starting of the conversation by “yea hath God said”? I think about the thorns and thistle that have entangled the people in this world today. Some of us have the spirit of Nimrod, building a tower of Babel so we can get booked and stay busy claiming this makes us feel better, although we throw God in there to make it seem like we honor him, but we don’t. The only scripture we read today are bible notifications and one scripture devotionals that carry no conviction just motivation, inspiration, hidden Damnation, and lying vanities. Some of us worship Sports like the Israelites did with the golden calf. It’s amazing how people buy the merchandise, go out in the street to party, jump up scream shout and the come to the House of Prayer checking their phones ready to go home as soon as they get there. Are these things lying vanities or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For what shall it profit a man , if he shall gain the whole world ,and lose his own soul ? The sad thing about lying vanities is that social media has created an alternate reality today. In the Netflix documentary “The Social Dilemma” a bunch of Silicon Valley Techs talk about how people such as us are being sold and used. Our emotions, feelings, thoughts, attentions and souls are now attached to an electronic device. Anything and everything we want to see, or experience is on our phones. Whether we are refreshing the app for a dopamine hit of being accepted , an email , a like , a DM , more followers or to Facebook debate someone over sports or politics , we have taken ourselves to the sunken place of pursuing vanities through the internet, seeking fame and money like Balaam. So many “Prophets and Prophetess of God” are working for Mammon begging for money by claiming to sow a seed, with their cash app and PayPal links mentioned. Selling people a lying vanity, by getting them to buy a blessing from God, you are cursed for preaching another gospel as Apostle Paul said in Galatia. Generation of Vipers how can you escape the damnation of hell? Better yet Pastors are committing adultery, having LGTBQ marriages and LGTBQ pastors in the church and still are preaching in the pulpit ? I ask myself why is no one trying to help these pastors out the pulpit, then again How can Satan cast out Satan? When it comes to vanities it can be seen as anything without God, Cain , king Saul , Balaam , Judas , Lucifer ,Satan , Old Serpent , King Ahab , and any other person that walks in their own counsel instead of the counsel of Jesus Christ. You forsake your own mercy that God has because God will give you up , Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me. So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: [and] they walked in their own counsels. Then again when death happens sometimes, we want to blame God, however Solomon ask the question Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time? You can die before your time, so Take heed lest any [man] deceive you:. One thing about God he is so True that even when he sends a lie it is still the truth , because of what is inside of you. There is a Story in 1st Kings 22 and 1 Chronicles so I would read and DWELL on that story to get some clear thoughts and revelations to understand where im coming from. However, the story is about a king that wants to go to war but God told the prophet to tell him not too. However, the “other prophets” tell the king what he wants to hear. But one prophet Micaiah tells him the truth but the king complains and doesn’t want to hear it and complains so then it transitions to Heaven and s spirt comes before The Lord and says let me persuade him to go up , Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee. The Lord sent a lying spirit to the prophets because the truth in the kings heart was a lying vanity, therefore he forsake his own mercy that he ever had because he died when he went to war. Brothers and Sisters , Ready the Word , Repent and Come to God through Jesus Christ , Peter and Judas were both Apostles , Preachers , and were Chosen by Jesus , however when they both Denied Jesus one came back and repented because his heart was true but Judas tried to buy back his sin with blood money and went back to where he belongs as Peter told us in Acts 1.Be aware of these lying vanities that are around us and in our hearts and even though Jonah said that They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. We must remember that For the law was given by Moses, [but] grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Come to God through Jesus Christ he will always turn away his wrath to those that repent.
